In Loving Memory

We Cast It Out

We cast out pride! We cast out fear! We cast out the spirit of religion here!
We cast out everything that will keep us from our God and King!
We cast out greed! We cast out lust! We cast our lives before the cross!
We cast out our bitterness! Fill us with Your holiness!

For we will be children of Righteousness!
And we will live our lives in victory and holiness!
For we are hungry, and we are thirsty Lord!
And we are waiting for Your Spirit to be poured!

Bring the Giants Down

Bring the giants down!
Slay them at our feet!
Let the trumpet sound!
Shout in victory!

The battle is the Lord’s,
When we put our trust in Him!
He will give us the victory,
When we put our trust in Him!

There are giants in our land
We will take the land they’ve stolen!
With the Lord as our Captain,
We will slay them where they stand!

We will fear no evil,
For the Lord our God is with us!
With the Host of Heaven,
We will tear the strongholds down!

My Sacrifice

The final sacrifice he’s given, so we might be born again
The final sacrifice he’s given, so we can be free from sin.
And all it takes, is a simple faith in him.
Nothing more, but nothing less.
And when I look upon his face,
I see the love he has to give.
And what more, than my entire life,
could begin to repay that sacrifice?

Chorus
So I lay, my all before him, my life as an offering.
I’ll take up my cross and I’ll follow him,
Not my will but his.

And though the way may not be easy
And though it may cost me everything
And though I may lose all I hold dear
That’s the price I’m willing to pay.
And on his grace will I depend
To give me strength to complete my task
For all I want, is to know more of him.
Nothing more will I ask.

Chorus
So I lay, my all before him, my life as an offering.
I’ll take up my cross and I’ll follow him,
Not my will but his.

Purify my soul, make it white as the snow.
Purify my life, so that everyone will know
That without you, I count it all a loss
But by your grace, I’ve been redeemed
You have given to me everything,
Teach me to give like you gave.
Break my heart with the things that break yours,
And show your compassion though me.

Your Love is Better than Life

Oh God you are my God and I will earnestly seek you
My soul thirsts for you and my body longs for you
In a dry and weary land you are my fresh spring of water
And I will hunger after things of you

Chorus
Because your love is better than life
My lips will glorify you, Lord
I will praise you, as long as I live
And in your name lift my hands

My soul is satisfied as with the richest of foods
With singing lips my mouth will ever praise you
My soul clings to you, my God, as you uphold me
Because you are my help I rest in you

The Lord is the Light

Chorus
The Lord is the Light of my Salvation, whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the Stronghold of my Life, of whom shall I be Afraid?

When the evil men advances against me, to devour my flesh.
When my enemies and my foes attack me,
They will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me, I will not fear.
Though a war breaks out against me,
Even then will I be confident.

To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord.
And to seek Him in His Temple.
For in the day of trouble, He will keep me safe.
Safe within His dwelling.
He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle,
And set me high upon a rock.
And I will sing and make music to the Lord!

Bridge
One thing I ask of the Lord, This is what I seek.
That I may dwell in the House of the Lord.
All the days of my life.

Still In Love With You

Sometimes I wake up and find you by my side
I think that I’m only dreaming but my eyes are open wide
Rivers of love wash over me as I stare at you
I promised you once and I will promise you anew
That there is no one who could ever take your place
Because you are the one that I will love until the end of breath

I’m still in love with you
And nothing’s gonna change that
I’m still in love with you
And that’s a matter of fact
Time has only made my love stronger than it was before
Each passing day I find I love you so much more
Still in love with you
I’m still in love with you
Still in love with you

Sometimes my mouth may not say what my heart does mean
I struggle with what to say, my words don’t speak my dreams
If the seas were drained and filled with only love
It would only be a part of me because
There are not enough words that exits to tell you how I feel
And if there were enough there wouldn’t be the time.

I could dream and I could scheme and build a world that will not last
But I will choose to never lose the woman of my heart

Man Who Died For Me

Precious are the hands that were pierced on a tree.
Precious are the feet that walked up Calvary.
Precious is the brow that was crowned in my place.
Precious is the man that died for me.

Chorus
He didn’t have to die, but he did it all for me.
He didn’t have to suffer, but he bore my shame on Calvary.
I don’t deserve, the price that was paid.
But he did it out of, He did out of love for me.

Sometimes I may not stand when I should.
Sometimes my life just isn’t a reflection of His word.
But His grace is sufficient for me,
And I’ll put my trust in the man who died for me.

I try to follow daily after him,
But my sinful nature is battling within.
So I’ll leave my struggle at the foot of the cross,
And I’ll put my trust in, the man who died for me.

Temptations they may come and sometimes they win.
But I always know I have a sacrifice for sin.
When I repent and serve Him faithfully.
And I put my Trust in, the man who died for me.

Jesus I Love You

In my brokenness, You healed me. In my sorrow You cared.
In my sinfullness You saved me, and gave me a prince’s share.

Chorus
And I have no other reason for living,
But to give my life to my King!
And I have no other reason for singing,
Than to praise the One who gave His everything.

Jesus, Jesus, I love You.
Jesus, Jesus, I do.
Jesus, Jesus, You’re my Savior,
And I owe my life to You.

In my loneliness you are with me. In my fear, You are there.
In my orphanedness, You claimed me, and gave to me a crown to wear.

Jesus Cares

Where do you turn, when no one understands?
When the problem that your going through seems to hard to bear?
Where do you go when life seems too rough?
When all of life around you comes crashing to the dust?

Chorus
Jesus cares, and he knows what you’re goin’ through.
Jesus cares, and he’ll be right beside of you.
When you feel you can’t go on,
Trust the one whose always near,
And don’t forget my friend, Jesus cares!

Sometimes in life you know it seems that you’re alone.
Like no one who’s around you could know just what you’re goin’ through.
Like everyone around you is in a world that’s all their own.
That you’re just a nobody and no one sees your pain.

It doesn’t matter what your burden is today.
Don’t try to bear it on your own, you know that’s not right.
Take it to the Lord and leave it at His feet.
That’s the only way that you will ever find relief.

Be Not Seem

Chorus
I want to Be and not Seem.
I want to Do and not Say.
I want to Grow and not Mold.
I want to Go and not Stay.

I want to Bend and not Break.
I want to Love and not Hate.
I want to Show and not Fake.
I want to Be and not Seem.

I’m tired of Fakin’
This time I’m Makin’ up my Mind.
I’ll start a Changin’
Slowly Rearrangin’ my Time.
I’m makin’ time for the Almighty God who gave his life for me,
And I’m tellin’ you this time, I’ve made up my mind! (twice)

I’ll start a Givin’
My life to Livin’ out my Call.
I can’t be waitin’
Not hesitatin’ to give my All.

I’m giving everything to Him who did the same for me,
And I’m telling you this time I’m givin’ my All!

Engagement Song

Alone a cord is weak, Wind another it is strong.
Braid a Third with the two and it cannot be broken.
As a man I am weak. With another I am strong.
With the Lord as the head, we can never be destroyed.
Just as Christ loved the church, so am I commanded too.
To love the way He loved, when the two become one.

So I offer myself, first to God then to you
To sacrifice when I must, to love unconditionally,
‘Cause that’s what Christ did for me.

And I see Christ in your life. You are an example to me.
With you, we can serve him, that’s the way it should be,
And as steel sharpens steel, so your life it sharpens me.
You’re a little salt to flavor, everything that I see.
Through your compassion, I have learned to love.
A tender indication, that his spirit dwells in you.

And as God as my witness, I have something to pledge,
I will love you in His strength, and live in His grace.
I will live as an example for the God who died for me.
I will be forever faithful to what Christ has called me to be.
